Javier's career started over 15 years ago as Assisting Director of feature films and advertising. He worked in films like: "Sol de otoño"” (Autumn sun) and "El Faro" (The Lighthouse) by Eduardo Mignona. "El mismo amor la misma lluvia" (Same Love Same Rain) by Juan José Campanella and "Seven years in Tibet" by Jean Jacques Annaud. Javier expanded his know-how with many scripts, theatre and painting courses and with a degree in Architecture.

He has directed many short films and written several feature film scripts, many of which have received awards in Argentina and abroad.

In 2000, he began directing commercials at ArgentinaCine. Since then, his directing career keeps growing with projects made for the most important agencies and clients from Latin-America. His works have received awards at the Fiap, New York, Montreux, Addy and Ojo de Iberoamérica Festivals.

In 2005 Javier sets off with his own project at Películas Cortitas.
